All about me... I'm here to help.

Hi there, I’m Cat Cherry. Owner, designer and creator at Cat Cherry Jewellery.
I’ve been collecting crystals and making jewellery since I was about five years old. I guess you could say that I'm a bit of a magpie because I love all things shiny! I’m a Reiki master, holistic therapist and crystal healer and have decided to use my knowledge of colour therapy and energy along with the therapeutic properties of crystals to be able to help people in different ways; my true purpose and calling in life is that I'm here to help! I'm one of the lucky ones who realised their life's purpose fairly early on and with this knowledge I started to wonder how I can actually make a difference and achieve this...
Most people suffer from one thing or another, and as a therapist I see each person as an individual, which is an essential part of designing bespoke jewellery - after all everyone has their own particular taste and unique sense of style. We're all freaks, geeks and uniques!
I care deeply about the world, and the people in it. I love nature, and take inspiration from my adventures and surroundings.
I grew up as a bit of a Tom boy, working on cars and motorbikes and later spent three years living in the Canary Islands, singing, dancing, running a Rock bar and a Cocktail club in my formative years. I then completely changed tack around the year 2000 when I swapped engine oil for massage oil and mechanics tools for jewellers tools. I guess you could say I refined my art forms somewhat by training in jewellery design & silversmithing, holistic therapies like aromatherapy and reflexology, Indian Head massage, etc and became a Reiki Master during this period and later went on to teach Holistic therapies and Reiki in Brighton, UK.
I love the awesome power of volcanoes and I adore the fact that lava beads form a perfect bridge between my two careers, as you can put essential oils on them and when worn, your body heat evaporates the oils, giving you the healing benefits of them.
My love of rainbows is no secret, so the myriad of colours found in the abalone shells of New Zealand really appeal to me and there's even a few 925 Thai silver leaves and charms on my site from our honeymoon travels in Thailand.
My wide array of different jewellery styles truly reflect the journeys of my life so far. You could say there's a little something from each chapter of my life right here on my site.
So, where have you been? What does your jewellery say about you?
